THE TRAVELING MAN

Prior to World War II, Ray Hagley traveled the
country with Bob Grayson and his band. Hagley
played a mean trombone! He performed in numerous cities from the Ringside Club in Ft. Worth,Texas to the prestigious Sky Club in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania. He often crossed paths with Glenn Miller and his orchestra.

Ray later became a graphic artist at Fawn Art in Cleveland, Ohio and then production director at Advance Art Studio. Hagley always had a love for photography and a keen eye for composition. His photographs were actually an extension of himself. His camera always told a story.

Ray passed away in January of 1991. His passion for art and photography left an indelible mark on his life.
