THE DOCUMENTARY

Gregg, Dan and Scott Hagley are traveling to Saipan in November of this year to film a documentary called Mystery of Saipan.

The film will show Saipan as it was in the war torn years of 1944 and 1945 and as the island paradise it is today. The Hagleys will also include rare photos and war footage taken by veterans who were stationed on Saipan. Ray Hagley’s kodachrome slides will be featured in the documentary as will a unique 16mm color film shot on Saipan several months after the invasion.

Two West Michigan production companys will assist the Hagleys in the making of their documentary. The Hagleys will of course add a little mystery and intrigue into their presentation. Could any of Ray Hagley’s photos shed new light into the disappearance of Amelia Earhart and her navigator, Fred Noonan?
